Welcome to David Powell Upholstery.  I have been keen on making things since my school days and attended the London College of Furniture when I first left school. However, my life took me in a different direction.

 I always dreamed of restoring a  Classic VW Camper Van and 6 years ago I was finally able to this! During the restoration I met Leigh Hicks of Combe Valley Campers and started doing the upholstery on his camper vans.  

This very quickly turned into regular work and I realised I wanted to make upholstery my full time job! To keep a variety of work coming through the workshop I also take on home upholstery and build bespoke items of furniture. I am passionate about my work, bringing creativity, precision and a great deal of care to every job.
